Their job is to protect you, be breathable and allow you a wide range of movement on strenuous ascentsThe trousers are made from medium-weight, weather-resistant Matrix™ softshell and have excellent stretch properties, ideal for hairpin bends in steep terrain. They have extra reinforcement at the inner leg cuffs to prevent sharp ski edges or pointed crampons from scraping your leg, and a zipper at the ankle that widens the hem for ski boots. The Khroma Ascendor pants are ideal for easy ski tours and complex ascents, have a regular fit and a high, elastic waistband that fits comfortably, even under a climbing harness. It has detachable suspenders, Velcro fasteners and belt loops and can therefore be adjusted in many ways.The Khroma Ascendor trousers, which are specially designed for ascents in the mountains, have a strongly pre-shaped knee section, a diamond-shaped gusset for more mobility and zippers on the thigh that ensure air circulation.
