These down-filled, weather-resistant boots were created for use in base camps or tents in the high mountains or on polar expeditions. They are filled with 800FP goose down, have a weather-resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro outer fabric and are double lined.The modular system includes a removable outer footbed with Velcro closure that can be used in camp and removed for sleeping to keep dirt or snow out of your sleeping bag or tent. The midsole with closed-cell 12 foam insulates the foot from the ground and is not compressed by use. The one-handed drawstring closes the boot securely and protects against snow and snow flurries (spindrift).These shoes are a must-have for any base camp when you want to warm up your feet after a long day in the high mountains.
