The Ascent 700 is a warm sleeping bag with a comfortable, wide mummy shape. Filled with 700 g 650 duck down, the sleeping bag offers space for additional layers of clothing for cold nights. Ideal for three seasons and spring temperatures comparable to those in the UK, New Zealand or Scandinavia.The Ascent is made from a lightweight, durable, recycled Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with recycled nylonlining. Its precisely stacked trapezoidal boxwallchambers optimize the loft of the hydrophobic duck down inside and counteract cold bridges. All Rab's down sleeping bags are filled by hand in Great Britain; the down is never compressed before use, so that its loft and warmth are retained.The spacious mummy shape with a wide foot area provides space and therefore a comfortable night's sleep; the close-fitting thermal collar prevents body heat from escaping to the outside when it is freezing cold. It has a ¾-long main zipper with a down-filled wind protection chamber that prevents the cold from penetrating.An zippered inner compartment for conveniently stowing a cell phone or headlamp, a cotton sack and a compression sack for compact packing size and protection on the go are indispensable practical details.
