Whether you want to bivy high up on the mountain before a summit climb or you're on a longer tour from hut to hut, the pack has plenty of room for all your gear.This is a backpack with a cover and side zipper for quick access to gear and special loops on the bottom for carrying skis in an A frame. It is made of resistant material, 50% recycled, optimally resistant to abrasion on the sides and bottom and in other places the backpack has a 35% recycled but lighter material to reduce the weight to a minimum. This rugged pack is abrasion and tear resistant as well as water repellent to withstand all conditions.With multiple gear attachment points and features ranging from an ice axe carry to water bladder compatibility, this is the ultimate backpack for all seasons. We kept the weight to a minimum with lightweight features, many of which are also removable. The spring steel frame and internal HDPE panel can be pulled out so you can adjust the weight, rigidity and fit of the pack depending on your goal for the day. The hip belt is customizable with removable webbing and padding for days when you're going ultralight.The Ascendor 35:40 is close-fitting and offers freedom of movement in challenging terrain. It features a snow-repellent molded back panel and side compression straps that allow you to securely lash your gear. Easy to open and close securely with a strong metal hook, or you can remove the top cover completely for days with less weight and close it with the large compression flap. This pulls the weight of the pack close to your body to make it easier to carry. It also doubles as a rope strap and protects your gear on top of the pack from the elements when you have the cover off.With the Ascendor 45:50, we thought of everything.
