DT-hering steel is a large and extremely stable peg for all kinds of soils including very hard clay, snow and sand. Thanks to the combination of very strong galvanized steel and the very stable T-shaped design, the herring can be hammered into virtually any ground. At the same time, it is surprisingly easy to remove because it can be loosened and the T head makes it easy to pull out once loose. The T-shaped head is suitable for most guy lines, making it perfect for the Nordisk Legacy line of heavy cotton tents. The T peg fits very heavy tents that require a particularly large pull.
