Mammut Smart Alpine 8.7 - 10.5

The alpine version of the award-winning Smart can be used with single ropes as well as with half ropes and is therefore the ideal companion for all alpine activities in rock and ice. The Smart Alpine offers the same outstanding features as the Smart with regard to securing the ascent ladder: dynamic braking of the climber in the event of a fall and blocking with little effort on the part of the belayer. With the Smart Alpine, one or two climbers can be self-blocked from the stand independently of each other. The device is also ideal for abseiling. In the black-red version for use with a rope diameter of 8.7 to 10.5 mm.
