The long-standing bestseller has been completely revised and now features an elastic textile in the tongue, flex zone and collar areas. This massively increases comfort and support in the shoe. The 3D-shaped heel padding, the 3-zone lacing with efficient D-ring blocking and the patented Base Fit 2.1 support this additionally. This is guided externally in the heel area and well gliding by means of a Mammut Hammer Reep cord above and below around the heel bone, which noticeably improves the heel hold and reduces the blister formation. The interior is dry and comfortable thanks to the Memo Foam, the elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction and the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear membrane. The light and permanently damping wedge made of Poro, PU and TPU creates the precise connection to the shaft. The proven vibram Maton sole completes this crampon-proof further development, which is also suitable for demanding mountain hikes.
