Mammut Alpine Trad Sling

A must for alpinists, ice climbers, trad climbers and multi-pitch climbers, the single-strand Alpine Trad Sling offers faster and safer handling than traditional round slings. Instead of pulling it over your head and arm, you simply release the carabiner and pull it from your torso. The Alpine Trad Sling uses the same amount of material as a round sling, but instead of being sewn into a closed ring, the single-strand design has a loop at each end to attach a carabiner. Intermediate belays can be quickly and easily shortened from 120 to 60 or 30 cm. The design reduces accidental unhooking of carabiners or the rope. 100% ultralight Dyneema material with the following advantages over normal nylon: higher strength/weight ratio, less water absorption and higher abrasion resistance.
