• VIBRAM ALP TRAC® ICE

  The ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws has a Vibram sole. The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading brands in the field of high-quality soles for many years. The VIBRAM ALP TRAC® ICE performance sole has been optimized for locomotion in high alpine terrain. The high tread depth of the lugs with the proven rubber compound including "Climbing Zone" at the toe of the sole for precise treading provide good grip.

• Gore-Tex

  Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The TORO PRO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology ensures optimum waterproofness and breathability. Permanently waterproof The membrane is reliably waterproof. No matter what adventure you are planning, you can rely on the GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet pleasantly dry. High breathability Designed for optimized breathability, GORE-TEX shoes ensure pleasant comfort even during intensive activities. Water cannot penetrate, while water vapor can escape from the inside through the billions of pores in the GORE-TEX membrane. Windproof The GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps wind and weather at bay. This means you can go on tours in any weather.

• TWO ZONE LACING

  Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws has forefoot and upper with separately adjustable lacing zones. This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill walking.

• CLOSE TO THE GROUND

  Anyone out and about in alpine terrain faces numerous challenges. Scree fields, rocky outcrops and rough terrain place the highest demands on footwear. LOWA has therefore used CLOSE TO THE GROUND technology in the CITUX Ws to give you a good feel for the ground. The sole is designed in such a way that the distance to the ground is as small as possible. This construction height minimization across the entire shoe promotes a natural feel on demanding tours and ensures a more stable stance on uneven terrain.

• CLOSE TO THE ROCK

  Anyone who travels in alpine terrain faces numerous challenges. Scree fields, rocky outcrops and impassable terrain place the highest demands on footwear. For a good feel for the rock, LOWA has therefore used CLOSE TO THE ROCK technologies in the ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws. Here the shoe is designed in the toe area so that the distance to the rock is as small as possible.

• ANATOMICAL FIT

  The midsole of the MERGER GTX LO Ws is specially adapted to the natural conditions of the foot to increase comfort and counteract fatigue. • SLINGSHOT

  In order to obtain a good fit in the heel area and a strong connection between the forefoot and the hindfoot, a special heel rubber is applied to the ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws under traction. This SLINGSHOT has a strong restoring force and ensures a good fit of the heel in the shoe.

• ROLLER EYELETS

  To ensure that the laces run flexibly and smoothly through the eyelets, small balls in the metal loops of the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws minimize friction.

• X-LACING

  So the tongue sits where it belongs - without slipping and pressure points: With the X-LACING technology, this is easily possible with the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws. The special lacing fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally. Since the lacing is thereby independent of the individual height of the instep, this construction is ideally suited for every foot. Due to this lacing technology, the pressure of the laces is no longer transferred only to the hooks, but flat to the entire tongue.

• LOWA FLEX®

  To ensure that each individual eyelet is flexible, these are attached to individual attached lacing parts in the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws . These are made of soft border leather or cuddly textile materials to avoid pressure points. Due to the flexible arrangement of the eyelets, individual adjustment of the lacing is easily possible without creating excessive pressure at individual points. At the same time, the tongue is reliably enclosed.

• WOMEN'S LISTS

  To ensure an optimal fit, the last of the TORO PRO GTX MID Ws is specially adapted to the female anatomy. The last is largely responsible for ensuring that the shoe fits well. As women's feet have a smaller volume, the instep height and ball circumference are adjusted, for example.

• FLEXFIT®

  If the upper of a hiking boot can be bent slightly, the foot can roll better. This saves energy, especially when walking uphill, and provides noticeable comfort. For this reason, LOWA has incorporated a flexible zone and a so-called "Lace Loop" in the area of the arch of the foot in the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws. This refers to the offset of the eyelet and the use of a flexible deep draw hook, which improves the heel fit and facilitates flexion.

• Fully automatic crampons

  The ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws is suitable for "Automatic crampons". This is a type of crampon suitable for all mountaineering and approach shoes with a pronounced rear and front sole edge. Good power transmission Fully automatic crampons sit firmly on the shoe through the use of wire stirrups. As a result, they offer good power transmission and, in some cases, different adjustment options for ice or mixed climbing. Easy handling Fully automatic crampons can be put on and taken off quickly. Particularly robust Fully automatic crampons have metal stirrups. These are particularly robust and therefore have a long service life.

• PrimaLoft® 400

  The ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws defies particularly cold conditions thanks to a high-quality synthetic fiber insulation with a filling of 400 g/m². The insulation performance comparable to down ensures pleasantly warm feet even in wintry conditions. Optimal thermal performance The PrimaLoft® insulation offers an optimal ratio of thermal performance to own weight and volume. The heat retention is comparable to that of a good goose down. At the same time, the fibers are so thin and soft that they flexibly adapt to the shape of the body. Water-resistant The PrimaLoft® insulation is water-resistant. The material retains its shape even when wet. The ultra-fine microfibers are given a water-repellent treatment during the manufacturing process with a special finish anchored in the fiber. Thanks to this special treatment, moisture does not adhere to the fibers. Ideal wearing comfort The PrimaLoft® insulation ensures a high level of wearing comfort. Due to the very low fiber thickness, a good heat retention can be generated. The fibers trap more air for the same volume, but can also be compressed small. On the one hand, this ensures a high level of wearing comfort, and on the other hand, a high recovery of the fibers and a long-lasting dimensional stability of the insulation.
