TX Guide is the version in leather of the TX Guide, the most technical shoe of the line TX Series La Sportiva. Perfect combination of "split leather", suede leather for better fit and nubuck leather for abrasion resistance, a shoe for technical approach and mountaineering. Designed for mountain guides and all those who are busy on the mountain and are looking for a high-performance product that is durable and has a "climbing oriented" look and feel. Versatile, lightweight and protective - this shoe is perfect for walk-run & climb ascents and features technical solutions and look inspired by climbing shoes: asymmetrical and forward lacing, friction-resistant eyelets on the toe and "overlap"-tongue for maximum envelopment of the foot. The enveloping shape "Adaptable Fit" for maximum performance allows at the same time, thanks to the elastic leather, an optimal adaptation to all foot shapes. The very stable tip allows optimal grip on edges during climbing. The "climbing-inspired" protective rim is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The sole/midsole combination is made with dual density compressed EVA, for cushioning on the heel and stabilization on the midfoot: the front side of the midsole is equipped with a TPU layer created with two-component injection molding technique, which serves simultaneously as a stabilizer of the climbing zone, as an intermediate layer and as a rock guard layer on the forefoot. The sole with dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip mixture is the perfect combination between grip and durability. The wide heel supports braking on downhill and provides more grip on uphill.
