A high-tech mid-layer for cold weather training, the Descender Hybrid Long Sleeve Half Zip Hood features a hybrid construction with strategic isolation zones for warmth and protection where your body needs it. In the hood and chest area we use Icebreakers MerinoLOFT™-Isolation - a warm, breathable and natural alternative to synthetic insulation. The outer layer consists of ultralight Pertex® Quantum Air. The sleeves and hull feature super-soft and fast-drying Corespun Terry, with Merino wool sheathing nylon to make the fabric more durable while maintaining the soft feel. A small amount of LYCRA® gives the fabric its elasticity. Offset seams prevent friction and small items can be safely stowed in the zipped pockets.
