A highly engineered mid layer for training in cold weather, the Descender Hybrid Long Sleeve Half Zip Hood features a hybrid construction with strategic insulation zones for warmth and protection where your body needs it. In the hood and chest area we use Icebreakers MerinoLOFT™ insulation - a warm, breathable and natural alternative to synthetic insulation. The outer layer is made of ultra-light Pertex® Quantum Air. The sleeves and torso feature super soft and quick-drying Corespun-Terry, where merino wool coats nylon fibers to make the fabric more durable while maintaining a soft feel. A small amount of Lycra® gives the fabric its elasticity. Offset seams prevent chafing and the zipper pockets allow small items to be stored safely.
