The Ferrata Tour GTX is an alpine touring boot that combines climbingperformance with the best possible walkingcomfort. Its multifunctionality makes it suitable for alpine tours in mixed terrain, but also for easy tours with glacier passages. Its HANWAG TubeTec Rock sole technology is specially designed for alpine mountaineering: Soft PU inside a robust TPU shell ensures a comfortable ascent and descent with outstanding performance on rock, ice and snow. The "tube" made of soft TPU protects the polyurethane, which is responsible for the good and long-lasting cushioning. At the same time, internal TPU ribs and reinforcements ensure step-in stability and precise guidance. The outsole impresses with its Vibram Integral Light tread design as well as a reinforced heel front and proven Vibram "Mont Compound" - for excellent traction "downhill". In addition, the Climbing Zone of the conditionally crampon-compatible model is reinforced with TPU, giving the sole perfect edge stability in the big toe area. What else distinguishes the Ferrata Tour GTX? Its classic leatherbottom section for a perfect fit meets a stable yet flexible upper made from particularly abrasion-resistant polyamideand polyurethaneyarns. This allows the necessary freedom of movement in the ankle to be able to tackle the rock with precision. The toe area is specially insulated for alpine touring - GORE-TEX Duratherm ensures maximum thermal insulation. With an additional insole, the volume of the shoe can be varied and individually adjusted. The Alpine Wide last also offers a slightly wider forefoot area for more comfort, but without sacrificing climbing performance and precision in the kick.
