The Ferrata Tour GTX from Hanwag is the ideal companion for challenging high-altitude hikes and via ferrata routes. This unisex mountaineering boot combines outstanding climbing performance with exceptional walking comfort, making it perfect for tours on mixed terrain as well as glacier crossings. Thanks to the innovative TubeTec Rock sole technology, the boot offers a perfect balance of comfort and performance. The soft PU core encased in a robust TPU shell provides comfortable cushioning and stability on various surfaces such as rock, ice, and snow.
The Vibram Integral Light sole, featuring the proven Mont Compound, guarantees excellent traction, especially on downhill sections. The Ferrata Tour GTX is partially crampon-compatible and features a reinforced climbing zone that ensures optimal edge stability. The shoe features a modern upper design that offers a flexible yet stable fit thanks to HANWAG LFX technology. The toe area is insulated with GORE-TEX Duratherm to ensure adequate thermal insulation even in cold temperatures.
With the Alpine Wide last, the shoe offers a wider forefoot area without compromising precision or climbing performance. The Ghilly lacing system, optimized all the way to the toes, allows for a custom fit and a secure hold. The Ferrata Tour GTX is also resoleable and manufactured entirely in Europe, ensuring the highest quality and durability.
