Care instructions

• Cleaning: Prepare the shoes for cleaning by removing surface dirt such as mud and dust
• It is best to clean Haglöfs shoes with a soft sponge under warm running water
• Dry the shoes with a clean cloth or rag at normal room temperature
• Do not use an additional heat source and do not place the shoes in direct sunlight
• The shoe shape can change through direct heat input
• Shoes should never be washed in the washing machine
• Clean the inside of the shoes every now and then with a soft brush and lukewarm water to ensure long-lasting comfort and a good foot climate
• Remove the footbed before cleaning
• The shoes dry faster if you stuff them with newspaper, because this absorbs the moisture very well
• After you have taken out the newspaper, the shoes should continue to air dry for a while
• Always let the shoes dry at room temperature, whether you clean them inside or out
• Never use radiators or drying cabinets (leather can crack when exposed to high temperatures)
• Cleaned shoes should ideally be stored at room temperature with a shoe tree
• Dirty shoes are not suitable for long-term storage
• Impregnate shoes - including laces and tongue - with a suitable agent before first use
• Brush nubuck and suede products with a suede brush after drying to make them look like new again
• A suede leather brush can also be used for gentle cleaning
• Treat the cleaned surfaces of the shoes regularly with an impregnating agent
• Some waterproofing agents work best when the shoes are still a little damp and the leather pores are open
• The agent can then penetrate deeper (follow the instructions on the packaging)
• We recommend to treat nubuck and suede shoes with wax to protect them additionally against moisture and wear
• Please note that this will make the surface darker and look different, which is perfectly normal
