Giro Tyrant Spherical

We designed the Tyrant™ MIPS® to meet the demands of today's trail riders. It's as much at home on wooded singletrack as it is on dirt jumps. Its style is understated, but there are plenty of performance features under the hood. Among them are Wind Tunnel™ ventilation and MIPS® Spherical technology. This uses foam layers that work like a ball and a socket to redirect impact energy in a fall. One layer is EPS, which is particularly suitable for high-speed crashes, and the other is lower density EPP foam to absorb the characteristics of slower falls. The extra coverage of this full cut design reinforces the protective properties, while the design is aimed at riders who put style above all.
