Ultra XP
The Ultra XP is the warmest sleeping bag of the entire Ultra series. It was developed specifically for expedition operations and keeps reliably warm even in extremely cold temperatures. Countless down chambers ensure even heat distribution and reliable thermal performance. To meet the demands of such extreme temperatures, the Ultra XP is cut extra wide. The 3D foot box with 11 individually filled down chambers ensures warm feet. A plump adjustable thermal collar keeps the warmth in the sleeping bag. In addition, a double zipper cover also keeps the cold out. The expedition hood provides insulation around the head and the large inner pocket keeps you well organized and warm. The outer material is recycled, PFC-free and protects against moisture. Only RDS certified down is used for the fill. Despite all the clever features, the Ultra XP is lightweight for the warmth it provides, making it the perfect companion for expedition mountaineers, extreme winter bivouacers or a trip to the polar regions. It's an open secret that the EN test only works reliably down to about 15°C minus to 20°C minus. That's why we only give a temperature recommendation for our thick expedition sleeping bags that has been tested in practice. Factors such as the physical constitution, the pad, the tent and the current weather have a great importance, which can not be represented by test results. 40° C minus can be considered an extreme value.
