Technologies and manufacturing processes

  • AMPHIBIO PROFILE

    The Amphibio technology stands for a revolutionary ski construction with a rocker profile on one side of the ski and a camber profile on the other. The Amphibio ski models feature a camber profile on the inner edge, which guarantees precision, edge grip and stability. The rocker profile on the outer edge ensures forgiving handling, easy turn initiation and quick edge changes.
  • SST Construction

    The SST design ensures fast, agile and direct power transmission from the ski to the snow. An additional advantage is the exceptional torsional stiffness of this construction.
  • Fusion X System

    The next generation binding system. The Fusion X is Elan's next generation high-performance binding system. The new designed single binding system improves the free flex between ski and binding and simplifies the turn initiation. The new pyramid-shaped construction is 30% lighter and reinforced with titanium for added stability and direct edge-to-edge response. Skiing at high speeds is now much more precise due to the direct power transmission.
  • TubeLite wood core

    To produce a TubeLite wood core, two ultra-light carbon tubes are incorporated into a light laminated wood core. The hollow tubes are only 5 mm in diameter and run the entire length of the ski, following the curve of the waist. They provide torsional stiffness and a powerful rebound, while reducing the amount of material in the core. The result is an incredibly light, responsive and stable ski.
  • Mono TI amplification

    In the Mono Ti construction, a single titanium unit lies on the wood core. This improves the performance and responsiveness of the ski in the long term.
  • Carbon Tubes

    Lightweight carbon tubes are inserted along the ski and run parallel to the waist. The carbon tubes provide torsional stiffness and a powerful rebound, allowing a core with less material. The result is an unimaginable lightweight construction in combination with fast response and high stability.
