An agile, versatile touring ski specially built for women The Tour 88 with a ski centre of 88 millimetres is the most versatile model in the DYNAFIT collection and was developed for classic ski tourers. The model stands for manoeuvrability, stable skiing performance and uncomplicated handling on any terrain. With its light 1,290 grams (166), sporty female ski tourers save their energy for the downhill run even on long, ambitious tours. Its design is a combination of cap construction and sidewall to achieve the optimum weight/performance ratio. A fully integrated aluminium tip guarantees easy and reliable skin fixation. Thanks to 3D construction, which was specially developed to reduce the volume weight and thus the gyrating mass of the ski in front and behind the binding area, the model guarantees smooth running despite its light weight. The rocker construction and sidecut - unique on the ski touring market - are adapted to the respective ski length. This means that the effective edge length remains proportionally the same for all lengths and functions independently of the ski length. The model is equipped with a poplar Paulownia wood core, whose material combination stands for the stiffness and strength of the long-fibre poplar and for low weight due to the Paulownia content. Special air channels in the wood core make the ski even lighter and thus easier for women to control.
