Speedfit ski with a good weight/performance ratio and the best properties for ski touring on the slopes The DYNAFIT Speedfit 84 is an uncomplicated ski whose properties are specially tailored to ski touring on the slopes. The model weighs a light 1,350 grams (176), making it a handy partner for quick ascents. With a full-length sidewall, the model guarantees high grip on the slopes and remains smooth and stable even in icy conditions. The rocker construction on tip and tail and the sidecut - unique on the ski touring market - are adapted to the respective ski length. This means that the effective edge length remains proportionally the same for all lengths and functions independently of the ski length. In order to distribute the volume weight of the model in the best possible way, the ski is equipped with the DYNAFIT 3D construction. This saves material in front and behind the binding area to reduce gyrating mass without losing downhill performance. The 3D carbon shovel improves the damping behaviour during the descent. The ski adapts to the downhill conditions and has a forgiving and compensating effect in hard conditions. The wood core of the Speedfit 84 consists of a material mix of Paulownia-ash poplar. An additional fiberglass layer makes handling and flex softer - and optimizes the model's handling characteristics for piste touring.
