Die spezielle Synthetikfaser, die für die Wattierung verwendet wurde, garantiert Isolierung bei minimaler Dicke. Die vollständig versiegelten Nähte, zusammen mit der wasserdichten Membran zwischen den Gewebeschichten steigern die Schutzleistung vor Unwetter zusätzlich, ohne die Atmungsaktivität zu beeinträchtigen (WP 5.000, MVP 5.000). Hier wurde auf jedes Detail geachtet: Der Zwei-Wege-Reißverschluss vorne ist mit einem winddichten und abriebfesten Einsatz an der Innenseite ausgestattet, der ärmelsaum ist elastisch und am Handgelenk weitenverstellbar, die Kapuze ist mit warmem, auf der Haut angenehmem Kunstpelz versehen.
