A one-person bivouac tent designed for special forces. The center section can be opened using two zippers that run all the way around. The zippers are waterproof thanks to specially designed storm flaps. The integrated mosquito net can be closed separately. Five integrated loops on the back allow you to secure your sleeping pad. A bivouac may be necessary if you can’t find space for a tent or have to spend the night outdoors against your will. In other words: A bivouac sack can be a matter of survival! We offer models that we consistently manufacture from the finest materials. Gore-Tex® gas-permeable technology is a unique three-layer laminate: completely waterproof and extremely breathable. Unlike the Gore-Tex® membrane used in clothing, Gore-Tex® Breathable Technology is air-permeable. Our bivy sacks and tents can therefore be completely sealed—providing absolute weather protection with plenty of comfort! Carinthia bivy sacks featuring Gore-Tex® Gas-Permeable Technology provide a waterproof and windproof multifunctional layer with ideal properties for all activities in wet terrain and in the rain. The unique Gore-Tex® laminate is not only extremely breathable but also permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide. This means it’s possible to create a completely sealed, waterproof, and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The system’s air permeability has been tested down to a depth of 1 m of snow.
