The Approach Down Hoody is a layer of clothing that can be worn over a shirt on cool multi-pitch routes or under a shell for ice climbing and winter temperatures in alpine terrain. The Approach Hoody's ultra-lightweight nylon ripstop shell features Green Theme Technology's revolutionary Empel DWR technology. This is an environmentally friendly, PFC-free DWR coating that shows superior performance and durability over other DWR solutions. RDS-certified HyperDRY™ goose down insulation with a fill power of 800 provides downy, highly compressible warmth that easily withstands inclement weather. The feminine, slightly longer cut with fashionable quilting gives the jacket extra style for everyday wear. When needed, the jacket is packed in its hand pocket and attached to the climbing harness with the integrated loop.

How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
