The Stranda V2 Insulated W Jacket is designed to keep you comfortably dry and warm all day both on and off the slopes. The V2 Insulated is an evolution Bergans Stranda Insulated W Jacket, which was launched in 2018. The task was not easy, but we have managed with the V2 to close a gap with the issues of sustainable materials and design methods. The product has an even more "sustainable" finish in this sense, making it easier to patch if it should be damaged in any way. The Stranda V2 Insulated W Jacket is based on a mono-material concept, which means that the different fabrics and other components are made from the same raw materials. In this case, almost all components are made of polyester. This makes it easier to recycle when applied. This product offers a better condition for the recycling system of recycled goods than a product made of mixed raw materials. The V2 scores with a durable outer fabric and a sportier cut than its predecessor. The V2 comes with a casual yet athletic cut that promises plenty of freedom of movement. The Bergans element Active® membrane is windproof, waterproof (water column: mind. 10,000 mm) and breathable. 100% recycled PrimaLoft® P.U.R.E.™ provides plenty of warmth and comfort. A stand-up collar and removable snow skirt provide the best protection from cold snow. An additional insulated pocket inside the front pocket is designed to keep your smartphone battery not too warm and not too cold, functional and the smartphone easily accessible when you need it. The Stranda V2 Insulated Jacket is part of Bergans Stranda line - Bergans most sustainable ski collection. The entire Stranda collection is made from yarn spun from old clothes and dyed using the unique SpinDye® process. This process uses significantly less water and chemicals in the manufacturing process. This in turn results in lower energy consumption and CO2 emissions during the production process. By combining the more environmentally friendly Spindye® dyeing technology and Bergans extensive experience in skiwear, we have found the optimal blend of performance and durability! 2-layer Bergans Element Active® with PFAS-free water repellent impregnation. Waterproof (water column: mind. 10,000 mm), windproof and breathable. The material is made of 100% recycled polyester and is dyed using SpinDye® technology. Lining made of insulating PrimaLoft® P.U.R.E.™ Insulation. The product contains insulation and other materials that are bluesign® APPROVED. Front pockets with zipper, small insulated pocket on the inside of one of the front pockets. Inside pocket with zipper, mesh pocket for ski goggles and ski pass pocket on the sleeve. The front pockets are placed so that they are easily accessible even when wearing a backpack with a waist belt. Removable snow skirt with tabs and snaps that attach to most Bergans ski pants. Pre-curved elbows for improved freedom of movement. Internal flap with drainage system behind front zipper. Pre-shaped sleeve cuffs with Velcro closure. One-hand adjustable elastic drawcord at hem.
