Efficiently warming synthetic Thermolite® EcoMade insulation with a soft "down touch" feel provides excellent comfort and lightness. The jacket's outer fabric is made from windproof and water-repellent polyamide and the slightly stretchy contrast inserts are made from 100% recycled polyester. The soft inner lining is dyed with an environmentally friendly e.dye process that does not require water, unlike traditional dyeing. The jacket is not fully taped in its construction, but the exposed areas of the hood, shoulders and back have a fully waterproof fabric that provides sufficient protection. In the construction we have always created smart features for flexibility and storage:Detachable hood that is adjustable with drawstrings(Drawstrings are not available on sizes 120-130 for safety reasons). Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop closures for a comfortable fit and protection from wetness and wind. The snow guard at the waist ensures that the body is kept dry even when skiing in powder snow. The jacket has two softly lined outer pockets, an inner accessory pocket made of stretchy mesh lining and of course a ski pass pocket placed on the sleeve. Stylish and sleekly finished with 8848 Altitude's metal-"8" on the chest and a ton-in-tone embroidered logo on the sleeve cuff.
