The jacket's outer fabric is 8848 Altitude's durable and high-performance durAtec® Extreme fabric, which is both windproof and waterproof and has good breathability. All the seams of the jacket are taped so that water cannot penetrate anywhere. The soft, synthetic 100-gram-insulation made of recycled polyester ensures comfortable warmth, even when the thermometer drops sharply. The jacket's soft and comfortable polyester lining is dyed with e.dye, a method that doesn't require water like traditional dyeing. Many clever features and details make your day on the mountain perfect: The detachable hood is easily adjustable with drawstrings (not available in sizes 120-130 for safety reasons), and the inside of the collar is lined with warming fleece. Adjustable cuffs and a snow guard at the waist keep cold snow away from the body - great for deep snow skiing. Storage for cell phone and valuables is provided by two zippered hip pockets lined on the inside with brushed tricot. The ski pass pocket is tactically placed on the sleeve for quick and easy access through lift control. All zippers are of the highest quality from YKK®. The jacket features an embroidered "8" on the chest, a small logo embroidery on the cuffs and a woven logo band as a bold design element on the back.
