SportFits product test of the Houdini Power Houdi
The Power Houdi has been an absolute classic in the Houdini range for over 20 years. We took a closer look at this high-quality fleece jacket to see what this model has to offer.

Those interested in high-quality and sustainable outdoor fashion are sure to have come across the Swedish brand Houdini. Several members of the SportFits team now carry the warm Houdini Power Houdi in their wardrobe. Many have worn them for several months now, so we'd like to share our experiences with you.

The key features in a nutshell
In this video, Houdini designer Sanna Söderling explains the benefits and technologies of the Power Houdi.The hooded jacket is made from a super-soft Polartec Power Stretch Pro fleece, which has an extremely supple surface and a cosy, warm inside. According to Houdini, this high-quality fleece material offers unrestricted comfort and is extremely robust and durable. The jacket also has a high collar, a close-fitting hood and practical thumb loops.

The individual ratings
Word of the quality of the Power Houdi quickly spread among the SportFits team. Of course, with an RRP of around 200.00 euros, the high-quality fleece jacket is in the high-priced mid-layer segment, but there are numerous advantages that justify the price.
The model is particularly durable and hard-wearing thanks to the Power Stretch™ Pro material from Polartec. Editorial team member Isa also thinks this is great: "I always think sustainable products are amazing. I'd rather buy a high-quality model and enjoy it for a long time than buy a cheap jacket every year that I'm not really happy with."
We love the fact that the Power Houdi is really suitable for everyone. It's available in many different colours for both men and women. There is even an extra version for children and teenagers! So the whole family can wear the Power Houdi partner look.
Our buyer Leo is presented with many midlayers in his job. He also has nothing but positive things to say: "The Power Houdi is by far the most comfortable fleece jacket I own. It has an excellent fit and the workmanship is great. I also like the sporty, elegant look! Whether for hiking, skiing or with jeans - the Power Houdi always fits."
As soon as you slip it on, you realise that the Power Houdi is extremely high quality and pleasantly warm. I particularly like the fact that you have complete freedom of movement despite the relatively thick material and that they have thought of comfortable details such as thumb loops and zips on the pockets.
Paulina from the social media team emphasises another aspect: "I'm thrilled that the Power Houdi also fits a size EU48! Unfortunately, you don't find that very often in this sector. I'm also a fan of the large pockets on the outside and inside. But the highlight for me is the material. It feels great and keeps you warm without making you sweat."
Our conclusion
The feedback from our employees shows that the advantages of the Houdini Power Houdi clearly outweigh the disadvantages. Only the price may make some people hesitate. But we think that you should often treat yourself to something. In the case of a high-quality garment, you feel completely at ease when wearing it and can enjoy it for a long time.
