The facts at a glance
Sweet Protection Trooper 2Vi Mips Helmet
Maximum protection and comfort while skiing and snowboarding, thanks to innovative 2Vi technology and the MIPS safety system.
The Trooper 2Vi® Mips helmet is an iconic snow helmet for freeride skiers and was designed for alpine skiing. It offers protection and comfort without adding bulk. The modern monoshell construction, made of thermoplastic, laminated carbon fiber material, uses varying material thicknesses to achieve a balanced combination of stiffness and elasticity. A complex, multi-density inner protection system helps dissipate impact energy. The 2-layer MIPS® safety system allows for controlled movement within the helmet to reduce rotational forces on the head during certain oblique impacts. The Occigrip Fit system with height adjustment ensures a secure, custom fit. The optimized ski-goggle fit, internal goggle retention system, and ventilation ports help keep your vision fog-free. Features a magnetic Fidlock® closure, removable ear pads, an Audio-Ready system, and a removable, washable inner lining.

Carbon-fibre mono-shell
EN 1077 Class B; ASTM 2040 | TLC single shell | Openings and goggle ventilation
The essentials
- ✓A good fit if you are looking for a helmet explicitly described for freeriding with a TLC shell
- ✓A good fit if you want to adjust the fit for height and remove the lining for washing
- –Less so if you want to actively regulate the ventilation: the Trooper 2Vi Mips has vents, but no adjustment is documented.
What is it for?
Our take
For your freeride days, the Trooper 2Vi Mips combines a TLC mono-shell made from thermoplastically laminated carbon fibres with dual-layer Mips. You adjust the Occigrip system with the dial and for height. The click-in lining can be removed and washed.
