Giro Tor Spherical

Touring with Spherical

EN 1077 | Hybrid: hard shell on top, In-Mold underneath | adjustable

The essentials

A good fit if you want to use the same ski helmet on the piste and on tours
A good fit if you’re looking for adjustable ventilation and a magnetic closure
Less so if you require a mountaineering standard for climbing sections: only EN 1077 is documented here for the Tor Spherical.

Our take

The Tor Spherical takes you from the piste to backcountry tours: the manufacturer describes both uses. Its hybrid shell combines Mips Spherical with externally adjustable ventilation. In Form 2 and the magnetic Fidlock buckle make adjustment and fastening easier.
