Salewa WS Wildfire Edge

The Wildfire Edge by Salewa is the ultimate technical approach shoe that effortlessly converts from a hiking shoe to a climbing shoe. Thanks to the innovative Switchfit system, which was developed in collaboration with mountain guides and climbing experts in the Dolomites, you can narrow the toe cap by simply tightening the laces at the rear eyelet and thus convert the shoe into a climbing shoe. After climbing, the toe cap can be widened again to increase comfort when hiking.
The Wildfire Edge impresses with its numerous High-Tech-Features. The integrated Edging Plate provides additional stiffness under the toes and thus improves climbing precision. Thanks to the butyl compound, the Pomoca Speed MTN sole offers excellent grip and high friction, whether in dry or wet weather. The sole also has a precision climbing zone in the toe area and aggressive lugs for optimum grip on muddy and soft ground.
The Exa Shell outer material and the 3F system enclose the foot and offer excellent flexibility, fit and support. The climbing shoelacing system extends to the toes for a precise fit. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) with interchangeable layers allows individual adjustment to the shape of the foot and guarantees a 100%blister-freeguarantee thanks to Salewa's Alpine Fit system.
With a weight of just 354 g per shoe and a sole height of 11 mm, the Wildfire Edge is the perfect companion for demanding hiking and climbing tours.
