The upper material is made from robust, recycled mesh and is reinforced with a Kevlarcable bandagenet that offers flexibility, stability and optimum heel support. Thanks to the Switchfit technology, the shoe can be quickly and easily switched from hiking to climbing mode, which ensures better edge performance and increased safety in technical terrain.
The Wildfire 2 GTX M is equipped with a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that offers waterproof and breathable protection in all weathers. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole has a climbing zone in the toe area and strong tread lugs that provide excellent grip in mud and on soft ground. The S-Path technology supports the natural rolling of the foot, while the slightly sticky POMOCA rubber ensures good traction in both dry and wet conditions.
In addition, the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) offers a customizable footbed so you can choose between a narrower or wider fit. The Climbing Lacing and Adaptive Eyelets ensure precise lacing and additional support. With a single weight of just 395 g (in size 8 UK), the Wildfire 2 GTX M is lightweight yet robust enough to withstand the challenges of demanding tours.
