There are so many classic climbing routes in the Dolomites that sometimes you don’t even know where to start: the Three Peaks, Marmolada, Cinque Torri, the Vajolet Towers, Tofana di Rozes, etc. We craft the upper of the Wildfire 2 shoe from durable, recycled mesh and reinforce it with a network of Kevlar® threads that comfortably and snugly wraps around your foot, providing flexibility, improved stability, and heel support. In addition, the Wildfire 2 can be quickly and easily switched from hiking to climbing mode using the SALEWA® Switchfit adjustment system. The result: better performance on ridges and while climbing, and overall greater safety on technical terrain. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) also features a customizable footbed, allowing you to choose a tighter or looser fit depending on your needs. To help you keep moving even in inclement weather, the Wildfire GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that provides waterproof and breathable protection. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone in the toe area and strong, pronounced lugs for good traction in mud and on soft surfaces, while S-Path technology supports the natural rolling motion of the foot.
