Durable, weather-resistant, and comfortable: Alpine softshell pants are almost always the right choice for long days in the mountains—whether on rock, snow, or ice. The Ortles Pants were developed specifically for mountaineering on cold days. The three-layer, laminated Stormwall main fabric provides reliable protection against rain, snow, and wind, while the 250-gram, lightweight, recycled Durastretch softshell inserts make the pants extremely breathable. The features are also fully tailored to the demands of alpine terrain: The softshell pants feature securely closable side pockets, ventilation zippers, generous edge protection that prevents tears from crampons, and a waistband with adjustable width via a Velcro closure and suspenders loops, which sits flat and comfortably even under a climbing harness or backpack. This is the long version of the standard model with longer legs.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 3. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Inseam length:Measured on the inside of the leg from the crotch to below the ankle.
