The Ortles 2 Mid GTX W from Salewa is a versatile mountaineering boot designed specifically for demanding activities such as mountaineering, high-altitude trekking, and hiking. This boot combines technical precision with comfort and, thanks to its TriWeave™ upper and GORE-TEX® membrane, offers optimal protection against moisture and excellent breathability. The mid-cut design provides stable ankle support, while the classic lacing system allows for a custom fit.
Of particular note is the crampon-compatible Vibram® Multi-Zone sole with ClawLug™ lug geometry, which provides excellent grip and traction. These features are especially invaluable during challenging descents and ascents. With a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop and a weight of just 570 g per shoe (UK size 8), the Ortles 2 Mid GTX W offers the perfect balance between lightness and stability.
The shoe is specifically designed to meet the needs of women and is manufactured in the EU. The MFF+ footbed allows for a customized fit, which further enhances comfort. The Ortles 2 Mid GTX W is therefore the ideal companion for anyone who wants to move safely and comfortably on technical terrain..
