With its weatherproof two-layer Powertex fabric, the Fanes 2L Powertex Parka for women combines high insulation capacity with reliable wind and water protection. A PFC-free DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) makes the outer material of the parka additionally water and dirt repellent. Inside, Salewa's TirolWool®-Responsive insulation is used. The wool used comes from Tyrolean mountain sheep, and the insulation material is also refined with Responsive yarns. These yarns contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far-infrared energy (FIR) radiated by the body and slowly release it again. The padding is used in two different thicknesses so that different zones can be provided with more or less thermal properties as needed. Thanks to the longer cut, the buttocks and thighs remain pleasantly warm even in cold temperatures. Features such as the water-repellent two-zip front zipper and adjustable hood make the parka an ideal winter companion. In the two zippered side pockets and an inner chest pocket can also safely store small items.The jacket is part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products leave a small ecological footprint.
