The facts at a glance
Oakley MOD5
High-quality helmet with innovative features for optimum protection and comfort in the mountains.
The Oakley MOD5 helmet has been redesigned from the ground up to meet the highest demands of bigmountainathletes and to withstand the challenges of the mountains. Its striking design and outstanding functionality make it an essential companion for anyone seeking adventure. The new proportions and detailed outer shape give the MOD5 an unmistakable look.
Thanks to the unique SKULL MATRIX construction, the helmet offers optimum fit and protection. The integrated retention system adapts in all directions around the head, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. Temperature regulation is crucial for a comfortable day in the mountains, and with multiple ventilation zones, air circulation can be customized to prevent fogging and overheating.
The MIPS® protection system reduces rotational movements caused by angled impacts to the head, and the three-dimensionally shaped Polartec® Power Grid™ lining is moisture-wicking, removable and washable. The BOA® 360 Fit System enables a precise fit, while the FIDLOCK® fastener ensures easy operation even when wearing gloves. The helmet comes with a practical carrying bag and an Oakley sticker and is available in sizes Small (51-55cm), Medium (55-59cm) and Large (59-63cm). It complies with ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 certifications.
