The Access 2 tent is designed to be the ultimate shelter for skiers, splitboarders and snowshoers. It's lighter than a mountaineering tent and warmer than MSR's backpacking tents. Only a small portion of the tent body is made of mesh to keep the inside warm on cold winter nights. Its light and small packing volume makes the tent comfortable to carry. The interior is spacious, while the sturdy frame resists snow build-up. The tent pitches quickly and provides sufficient shelter in less extreme conditions such as near the tree line. This makes it a perfect base for exploration into the rougher, higher snow areas.
