The Access 2 tent was designed as the ultimate shelter for ski tourers, splitboarders and snowshoe hikers. It is lighter than a mountaineering tent, but warmer than MSR's backpacking tents. The limited mesh fabric on the tent body provides more warmth in cold nights, while the lightweight and packable design saves you valuable energy during ascent and descent. The interior is spacious for stowing and the strong frame can withstand even the heaviest snow loads. The tent can be set up quickly and offers the necessary protection for camping in less harsh conditions, such as near the tree line u2013 and is therefore perfect for accessing the hollows, mountain ridges and powder snow fields aboveu2013.
