"Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra is a comfortable and lightweight headlamp with no cumbersome cables for anyone who likes to run. Its features and light beam are optimized for the needs of runners. Trail Runner Free 2 Ultra comes with a rechargeable 4.0-Ah rechargeable battery (14.8 Wh) and the Hybrid battery compartment. All Trail Runner Freelamps have the power cable integrated in the headband. We call it Free Technology u2013 a comfortable headlamp experience without cable clutter. The Hybrid-battery compartment can hold either the rechargeable Silva Hybrid-battery-pack or 3 x AAA-batteries (not included). This way, AAAbatteries serve as a backup in case the battery is empty. Although the focus is on technological breakthroughs, weight optimization has not been neglected: every part is compressed, the headlamp unit weighs only 61 grams (without batteries). The lamp is perfectly balanced, easily adjustable and has a flat, soft textile extension cable that does not get tangled. The soft headband with silicone band on the inside fits securely. The battery can be worn in the headband or kept warm in the pocket with the extension cable to extend the runtime.
