"Trail Runner Free 2 is a comfortable and lightweight headlamp for anyone who likes to run. Its functions and light beam are optimized for the needs of a runner. The basic version of the Trail Runner Free 2series is used with 3 AAAbatteries (not included) and the Hybridbattery compartment. All Trail Runner Freelamps have the power cable integrated in the headband. We call it Free Technology u2013 a comfortable headlamp experience without annoying cables or cable clutter. No u00c4rger u2013 just release the energy. The Hybrid battery compartment can be used with either AAAbatteries or the rechargeable Silva Hybrid Battery Pack. This means that you have the freedom to charge the headlamp when you want to use it with a rechargeable battery. The battery compartment has non-slip surfaces and an integrated red safety rear light for additional visibility and safety. With the 2. Generation of the Trail Runner Free, the cooling has been optimized with a more powerful chiller that allows the lamp to produce up to 550 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining its comfort and light weight. Our ultrarunners were an important part of the design process, and the Trail Runner Free 2series is designed for running in every way. All three headlamps in this series feature Silva Intelligent Light. This means that you get dual beam technology in your headlamp, with light settings that are perfect for running. Our unique combination of a long-range headlamp and a close-range floodlight results in less head movement, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and increased speed. Although we focus on technological breakthroughs, we have not forgotten the importance of weight optimization. Every part of this headlamp has been compressed and the headlamp unit weighs only 61 grams (without battery). The headlamp is perfectly balanced, is easy to adjust and has a flat, soft textile extension cable that does not get tangled. The headband is soft yet firm enough, with a silicone band on the inside to stay in place. The battery can be worn comfortably on the headband or kept warm in the pocket with the included textile extension cable to extend battery life."
