The Akasha II from La Sportiva is a technical and aesthetic revision of the popular Akasha model, specially developed for endurance competitions and long-distance running. Whether ultramarathons, ultratrails or longer training sessions - this shoe offers optimum comfort and protection. Thanks to the excellent cushioning and the Cushion Platform™ footbed, a pleasant running sensation is guaranteed, while the wider inner volume provides additional space for the foot. The soft, breathable upper material with Slip-on construction prevents pressure points and ensures a comfortable fit.
The rear Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcements provide protection and support the natural movement of the foot without constricting. The adhesive FriXion® Red sole with dual compound and the innovative Trail Rocker™ solution promote natural rolling from heel to toe while running. In addition, the laces and the Ortholite® Hybrid footbed are made from recycled materials, which means the Akasha II also contributes to sustainability.
