Hanwag Yakstone
The Yakstone is the perfect companion for easy day hikes on paved paths. Models made from Yak leather are particularly robust and comfortable and, thanks to the individual grain structure, each shoe is unique - as is the HANWAG Yakstone. The water vapor-permeable Yak leather ensures a pleasant foot climate, while the Ghilly lacing and chrome-free tanned leather lining contribute to an optimal fit. Thanks to the Vibram® Ultragrip II sole, the shoe has good rolling properties. HANWAG only uses yakleather from organic herds in Mongolia. The raw material is finished by HANWAG's long-standing partner, the Josef Heinen leather factory in Germany. It complies with the "Gold Standard" of the Leather Working Group, a multistakeholderinitiative that sets the standards for sustainable, responsible and transparent leather production.
