Traditional Bavarian cobbler meets Tyrolean wool manufacturer. The Yak Loafer stands for the highest level of craftsmanship and natural comfort. With its soft yak-leather and wool felt, it consists of two natural materials with outstanding functional properties, which together ensure natural comfort and a pleasant foot climate. Particularly soft, supple and unique- the high-quality yak-leather adapts perfectly to the contours of the foot. Its individual, fibrous grain structure makes each pair of these shoes unique. HANWAG only uses yak-leather from organic herds in Mongolia. The leather is finished in a sustainable, responsible and transparent manner at the Josef Heinen leather factory in Germany. The lining and insole with wool felt lining and a soft border are made from 100% pure new wool - naturally mulesing-free. Durable, moisture- and temperature-regulating, it is noticeably comfortable to wear. The innovative, non-slip Step Zero outsole perfectly rounds off the resource-friendly production of the shoe. It consists of a mixture of biodegradable and renewable raw materials, e.g.. from waste streams from wheat production.
