The Waxenstein II by Hanwag is a high-quality hiking boot designed specifically for men and ideal for hiking and trekking trips. Crafted from premium yak leather from the renowned Josef Heinen leather factory, this boot offers an outstanding combination of durability and comfort. The mid-cut upper provides a balance of stability and flexibility, while the soft leather in the flex zone and the soft collar ensure additional comfort.
Weighing 1,250 g per pair in size 8 and with an ABCD rating of B, the Waxenstein II is ideal for longer tours. The lacing system with metal clip hooks and the minimal number of seams in the lower part of the shaft ensure an optimal fit and durability. The Vibram® sole provides a grippy and flexible base that allows for natural movement on a wide variety of surfaces.
The Waxenstein II impresses not only with its high-quality craftsmanship but also with its well-thought-out details, such as the length of the laces, which is adjusted according to shoe size. With its StraightFit construction, it offers a comfortable width in the forefoot area, which provides extra comfort—especially on longer hikes.
