The Makra Pro Bunion GTX from Hanwag is the ideal companion for challenging mountain hikes and trekking adventures. This versatile mountain boot is specifically designed for people with hallux valgus and, thanks to its bunion-friendly fit, offers extra room for the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe. Equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and durable Perwanger leather, it offers optimal protection and comfort in any weather.
The shoe’s construction features a combination of PU, TPU, and EVA in the midsole, which provides excellent cushioning and precision. The Vibram® Makra outsole guarantees excellent grip, while the crampon-compatible heel with a TPU insert ensures a secure hold on glacier crossings. The mid-cut upper also provides stability and protection around the ankle.
The "Hanwag 2 Zone Lock" system is particularly practical, allowing for customizable lacing and ensuring a perfect fit. Weighing 1,310 g per pair in size 8 and featuring the option to replace the soles, the Makra Pro Bunion GTX is a durable companion for all outdoor enthusiasts.
