The Klarsby Bunion Lady GTX from Hanwag is the ideal hiking boot for women who suffer from hallux valgus. This mid-height, lightweight hiking boot has been specially developed to meet the special requirements of this common deformity of the forefoot. With a voluminous toe box and a special "Bunion Hike" last, the shoe offers sufficient space for the metatarsophalangeal joint and the toes. This is particularly important as hallux valgus often also affects the other toes and requires more space.
The shoe is made of durable Perwanger split leather and textile material, which is complemented by a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. These materials ensure optimum protection and comfort in all weathers. The seamless construction in the forefoot area prevents friction and pressure points, while the adaptive Ghilly lacing enables individual adjustment to the foot's movement. The increased flexural rigidity in the forefoot area reduces the amplitude of movement of the MTPjoint and thus minimizes pain when walking.
The HANWAG Endurance Hike Bunion sole offers stability and excellent cushioning thanks to the PU midsole, while the TPU scree protection provides additional protection.
