The waterproof leather hiking boot was specially designed as a Bunion model and impresses with numerous specific details. The bunion last offers more space for the metatarsophalangeal joint and for the toes in general. In the case of hallux valgus, the crooked big toe often displaces the other toes as well - the toe box is raised and slightly wider to give them more space overall. The HANWAG Endurance Hike Bunion sole is adapted to the last: it offers stability thanks to a wide tread surface and an excellent cushioning PU midsole. Increased flexural rigidity in the forefoot provides relief for the metatarsophalangeal joint - this reduces the amplitude of movement of the MTP joint during the rolling process and thus avoids unnecessary pain. In addition, the entire forefoot area, including the TPU scree protection, is free of seams that could potentially press on or chafe the sensitive metatarsophalangeal joint. The adaptive Ghilly lacing ensures a comfortable fit: the flexible textile loops adapt to your movements as you roll, allowing your foot to move more naturally.
