Its innovative midsole technology - the HANWAG Bead technology - combines the best properties of PU - stability, cushioning and durability - with the properties of e-TPU - lightness, comfort and energy return. The sole absorbs the energy generated when you hit the ground and returns it as you continue walking. At the same time, the softer midsole makes walking more comfortable. Both effects support hikers, especially over long distances. The sole package is complemented by a new, specially developed outsole with a multifunctional design that offers optimum grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The profile of the weight-optimized outsole is designed to wear down more slowly and therefore also contributes to the durability of the shoe.
