The shaft has been raised by a few centimetres to effectively keep out cold air and snow. A special insulating insole ensures that your feet stay warm down to temperatures of minus 15 degrees. It reflects the cold from the ground and at the same time stores the heat that your feet give off.
The Gore-Tex® Partelana lining is both waterproof and permeable to water vapor, which means that your feet stay dry and protected from moisture even during strenuous activities. The rubber compound of the tread sole has been specially optimized for cold temperatures and offers excellent grip, so you are safe even on slippery or icy paths. With a weight of just 1200 g per pair (size 5) and a lace length that varies between 160 cm and 170 cm depending on size, this boot offers a perfect combination of functionality and comfort for winter hiking adventures.
