Hanwag Alaska Pro Wide GTX
Robust and extremely versatile - an absolute trekkingclassic. The Alaska Pro Wide GTX is made for demanding day tours through to week-long outdooradventures with a heavy rucksack. Thanks to the GORE-TEX lining, feet stay dry even in muddy and rainy weather, while the slightly higher scree protection edge on the Alaska Pro Wide GTX version protects the leather from knocks and cuts. Particularly stable and durable die-cast metal lacing parts ensure a reliable fit. The polyurethane midsole is covered with a 0.2 mm thick TPU foil. This makes the sole unit not only lightweight and particularly comfortable, but also easy to care for and significantly more resistant to hydrolysis. The insoles are made from chrome-free tanned leather. The high-cut shaft with onebladeconstruction stabilizes and protects the ankle area. The wide last with wider dimensions in the forefoot and ball area prevents lateral pressure points in the forefoot area for wider feet.
