Edelrid Switch Double

The Edelrid Switch Double is an asymmetrical Y lanyard specially designed for self-belaying in climbing and bouldering. Made from an energy-absorbing dynamic rope, it offers an extremely robust kernmantle construction that is both lightweight and compact. The different lengths of the two branches (75 cm and 40 cm) allow flexible positioning, ideal for challenging climbing situations or when abseiling.
A special feature of the Switch Double is the large loop, which makes it easy to tie in to the climbing harness using an anchor stitch, which significantly improves handling and safety when climbing. Although it is versatile, it should be noted that this lanyard should not be used as a via ferrata set.
